Tröpferl-Tournaments
If you are a multi-talent and badminton is too easy for you under „controlled conditions“, we have a special challenge for you with the dribble tournament! Here you can show whether your reaction skills are still good enough for the fastest ball sport in the world after a few glasses.
Double the fun
The game is played as a doubles team, with the pairings being drawn before the start of the tournament. Experience has shown that successful teams have a good mix of sporting talent, fitness and drinking strength. But tactical skill is also required.
Catching up points „drop by drop“
The Tröpferl tournament is generally organized according to the common badminton rules but there is one special feature: points can be made up at the right time by drinking beer or spritzers. If the team in the lead 7, 13, or 19 points the trailing team can continue to the next threshold. “drink up”, by both players of the team drinking a glass of beer (0.2 l) or spritzer each.
Example 1: The team in the lead reaches 7 points, the score is 7:3. The two players of the team in the back take a drink break (a glass each) and the score is 7:7 - let's continue!
Example 2: The score is 19:11 and the two players from the team behind now have to drink two glasses each, as they have to catch up on two drinking thresholds. The score is then 19:19 - just two points away from winning the set!
