At the fourth Attention doubles tournament on March 29, 2025 There were 14 teams competing for victory and thus for non-cash prizes and points for the Attention doubles ranking.
New, old team at the top
The 28 participants included both experienced pairings and, fortunately, some newcomers to the tournament. Experience seemed to pay off in the first two rounds, as the favorites consistently prevailed in two sets. After that, the matches were more evenly matched and the results were sometimes very close. At the top, however, the roles were clearly distributed: The teams of Mario Diethart & Patrick Ditz and the mixed doubles team of Uwe Tschreppl & Katharina Vokroj prevailed in the semi-finals against Gerwin Fink & Wolfgang Stadler and Jürgen Häuselhofer & Ulf Marsche respectively. In the final match of the day Mario Diethart & Patrick Ditz, who were playing in the doubles tournament for the first time in this constellation; they won the tournament without losing a set, 21:17, 21:9. Wolfgang Stadler & Gerwin Fink secured third place.
